A great big thanks to everyone who donated for the SOTC team that participated in today's Humane Society of Manatee County Paws in Motion Walkathon! It was held in downtown Bradenton on the waterfront.

Not only did we raise over $2,000 to help the Humane Society, we beat the Boy Scout team as well! And I bet they have alot more spare time than we do! $2,000 is alot of low cost spay/neuter scholarships, ya know?!

We also had a great SOTC presence at our booth, and doing agility demo's. Alot of people were very interested in agility, and we were only too happy to direct them over to our booth for info. At the booth, there was a drawing for a free class, and that seemed to really get people's attention.

The agility ring was right down in the middle of everything, and was in a large grassy area that is elevated a couple of feet from the sidewalk/streets. So it was great for people to sit on the edge of the retaining wall and watch the dogs run. We were right across from the stage and the DJ, so it also provided great distractions to train our dogs around. And they all did great!

SOTC ROCKS!!!!!! I am so proud to be a part of such a great club :)
