DOCOF - September 1st 2013
Anyone who is a member of SOTC for 6 months prior to the competition as well as an active member may participate. So if this is you and you are currently working an obedience dog, we encourage you to contact us and join us for this fun filled weekend with other SOTC members and exhibitors from the entire state at the central Florida fairgrounds.

We will need Novice, Open and Utility trained obedience dogs. We may send up to 3 teams :) The sooner we get everyones names pulled together the sooner we can start practicing and preparing the teams ,etc.

Note*: You may enter a class higher than the title your dog holds, just not lower.

If you are interested please contact Angie Schuhmann at aussiedog1137@yahoo.com

Flyball Updates

The Summer schedule is now online! Please use this link to find your next flyball class: http://www.sotcdogtraining.com/flyball-classes.asp

From the Board
Notice to all members: please respect the people using the building prior to your reserved time. Please be courteous and come in quietly! If you reserve at 1:00 for a group of you, you don't set up until 1:00, not 15 to 30 minutes early which is disruptive to the club member or class already in the building. If there is someone in the building prior to you, then your scheduled building time should include your set up and tear down time. One person does not usually cause a disruption, it seems to happen when there is a group of people training together. Thank you, everyone!

From Stacy Groff, Newsletter Editor
Information for the newsletter (formatting changes, edits, minutes, brags, news, everything) is due to the newsletter editor on the Friday prior to the board meeting (which is always the 1st Wednesday of the month). Please feel free to submit information, events, stories, cartoons (again, anything) and it will be printed if appropriate and if space allows. Some things do get held for the next month due to formatting and space allocation. Photos can be printed with brags if space permits. Thank you!!! Please send your information to stacy-weeks@comcast.net
