Our Latest Brags!
Dot Schider and Doris Petracco write: A Jason son Burdigan's Color My World
finished May 25th. The following weekend littermate Burdigan's in Living Color
finished at the SCWTC of Greater St Louis Specialty weekend. He was Winners Dog at
the Specialty and at a companion show. Jason now has a total of 9 champions towards
a ROM title
Lori Holdren is pleased to announce that her Labrador Retriever, Rogue, earned her
Starters Gamblers title at the Canine Capers USDAA trial in Perry, GA. She also
earned her second Starters Jumpers leg and her first Starters Snooker leg.
Marcia Mitchell reports that her boy Cappy finished his MACH2 June 1st in Novi
Michigan with 4 glorious runs for the weekend and a QQ on Sunday. .Almost looked
like one of those really awesome dogs one sees run. It's hard to believe what he can do
with such a slow handler. Her baby Echo, often called Twit, also had a good weekend
as she finished her Open titles in Standard and in JWW so that now she'll be running
in Excellent like her big brother. Mom is happy that she won't have to remember
multiple level courses again nor have to cope with conflicts caused by dogs running in
different levels. However she still sasses me all around the courses and loses time
turning around to tell me to hurry up. Her distance motivation isn't as good as
Cappy's yet. She's pretty good though for a dog who isn't yet 2. I have to keep my eye
on her as everybody seems to want to take her home with them.
Karen Skoyek writes: At the Memorial Day AKC agility trial in Palmetto, Aiden
placed first in excellent standard preferred, earning his Excellent standard preferred
title. This completes Aiden's first agility season in earning novice, open, and excellent
titles in both AKC standard and jumpers. In West Palm this month, Aiden got his 10th
RAE leg, placing first in both Advanced and Excellent Rally classes. This achievement
completed Aiden's Rally Advanced Excellent title. Finally, at IPOC, Aiden earned two
CDX legs and placed first in Open A obedience on Sunday.
Dog>Gone Flyball had a fabulous time at a recent flyball tournament in Orlando - a
super venue with really cold A/C and lots of racing! Dog>Gone Freight Train finished
second and third for the weekend. This team consisted of club members Jeff Wilkes
with Shadow and Zipper, Christine Heckman with Mattie, Nancy Murphy with
Sydney, and Sue Carpenter with Deoge. Dog>Gone Express also scored a second and
a third place during the weekend with SOTC members Christine Heckman with
Mattie, Jeff Wilkes with Zipper and Shadow, Sue Carpenter with Deoge and Nancy
Murphy with Noche. All three teams were supported by our fantastic boxloaders
Michael Jennings, Nettie Ibold and Galen Groff! A third team, Dog>Gone Quick, faced
fierce competition in the Multi Division. Scoring lots of points, but much lower
placements were Nettie Ibold with Kelby, Stacy Groff with Jazz, Karen Skoyek with
Aiden, Nancy Murphy with Noche, and Galen Groff with Gizmo. We were thrilled to
have two of our dogs reach significant titles during the weekend: Jeff Wilkes' BC
Zipper earned his Flyball Dog Champion - Gold with 2500 points and Nancy Murphy's
GSD Noche got his FLyball Masters title with 5000 points.

competed in only 3 agility trials, and already has 2 Novice JWW legs, 1 Novice
Standard leg and 1 Novice FAST leg. And the best part? Each run was a 1st place!
Galen and Stacy Groff's mixed-breed rescue, Gizmo, earned her Flyball Dog title in
Deland. Florida on 1/20/08! This was a long awaited title for Gizmo. Giz was an
extremely shy dog when adopted, and thanks to classes at SOTC she has come out
of her shell and made her first successful runs in Deland.
