Oak Park Demo - July 25
SOTC's annual demo at Oak Park School will be Friday, July 25. If you haven't been, and are thinking about it, I would highly encourage it.  The kids love to watch the dogs, and the gym is loud when they applaud - GREAT proofing opportunities!

We do an agility and obedience demo for the special needs kids' camp at Oak Park School. After the demo is finished, the kids visit with those dogs who are therapy dogs. If you are working in agility or obedience, or if you have a therapy dog, we'd love to have you join us! These are special needs kids, so it's important that participating dogs be good with children, of course.

The demo will be in the gym at the school, which has slick flooring. Don't worry, though, we have plenty of paw-spray for the dogs' feet. And we bring a selection of equipment that works well at this site. Please plan to bring a towel to wipe puppy paws and chins - that helps the floor be less slick. And - IMPORTANT! Please bring a crate for each dog - no X-pens, please (they could hurt the flooring).

More details will be forthcoming, but we generally meet at the club around 8:00am to load agility equipment, then caravan over to the scool, do the demo, and then unload the equipment back at SOTC. We are usually done by around noon.
