HOMEWORK - LEVEL 3

• Develop a warm-up exercise for you and your dog...think light switch..ON and OFF
• Name Game...several times daily..reward with YES when the dog looks at you...call again if necessary
• Walk/run in a straight line...dog on both sides
• Circle work...walk then run with the dog on both sides..large circle 12-14 ft. in diameter
• Start line stays...sit or down...add distance and duration....then movement
• Call to heel...use a leash..short distance only...two-three steps max. when the dog is in position
• Remember to bring a toy for the next class and AWESOME dog treats....No bait bags on the handlers for class
• Celebrate the small gains!!!! You are all gaining!!! Build the relationship!!!
